Application Form

Applications Are In! What’s Next?

This year looks like its going to be the most diverse Mudfest on record. No longer just a drama festival, we’ve got applications for crazy happenings all over campus—come August there will be space invasions, clowns, talking books and creatures in raincoats popping up all over campus.

For applicants, all will be revealed by next Friday.

Now that applications for the Main Program of the Festival have closed all the other little tidbits are going to swing into action.

Firstly, we are interested in YOUR PARTICIPATION

Creative teams looking for extra help

We have many challenging and creative ideas brewing, and now we need the technicians to come in and figure out the logistics of it all. Many groups have writers but no performers, directors but no producers or stage managers. There are gaps everywhere and now’s the time to put your hand up and be counted

If you would like to be involved in Mudfest11 but don’t know how or in what capacity, please drop us a line and introduce yourself. A simple email saying what sort of things you are interested in doing and then we can create a database of people.

Email curators@union.unimelb.edu.au with what you are interested in doing as part of Mudfest11.

Muddy Shorts

Mudfest’s flagship event is back for Mudfest11!

Muddy Shorts will showcase new and innovative short works in a one night extravaganza. Whether they are performance, film, comedy, puppetry, visual arts or anything in between, Muddy Shorts will be an evening of short live artistic events. Mudfest11 especially encourages new works and collaborations between artists of different mediums.

The only real guideline is acts need to be less than ten minutes and can be as short as one minute.

Muddy shorts will be Saturday 23 August.
